There are five panes on the Rhino status bar: Layer, Snap, Ortho, Planar, and Osnap.
Click the Layer pane to open the shortcut layer menu.
Right-click the Layer pane to open the Layers dialog box.
Click the Snap pane to toggle grid snap.
The text "Snap" changes to bold when grid Snap is on.
Right click the Snap pane to set snap distance.
Click the Ortho pane to toggle Ortho mode.
The text "Ortho" changes to bold when Ortho mode is on.
Right-click the Ortho pane to set the ortho angle.
Click the Planar pane to toggle Planar mode.
The text "Planar" changes to bold when Planar mode is on.
Click the Osnap pane to toggle the display of the Osnap dialog box.
The text "Osnap" changes to bold when one or more object snaps have been selected whether or not the Osnap dialog box is open.
The Osnap dialog box lets you select which object snaps are currently in effect.
Toggles history recording on and off.
Right-click the Record History pane to display the menu.
