Extrude a curve to make a surface

Open the tutorial model

  1. On the Rhino Help menu, click Learn Rhino, and then click Open Tutorial Models.

  2. Click Extrude.3dm and then click the Open button.

Start the ExtrudeCrv command

  1. Review the Help topic for the ExtrudeCrv command.

  2. From the Surface menu, click Extrude Curve, and then click Straight.

Create an extruded surface

  1. Select the curve.

  2. At the Extrusion distance prompt, drag a distance with your mouse and click.

Tip:

  • Click red text for more information.

  • Click the play button to start a video clip.
